MagsBC sessions and other training opportunities

In addition to our MagsWest conference, MagsBC offers webinars and seminars throughout the year, and keeps track of other conferences and training opportunities.

If your magazine is a member of the Magazine Association of BC, you can register for one or more of these sessions for free as a membership benefit. Contact Sylvia Skene, executive director, MagsBC for the promotional code. (This does not include Ryan Dohrn's webinars.) You can also register for additional sessions and the sales webinars at a discount.

If your magazine is a member of AMPA or Magazines Canada, you can also register at the member discount.

Members of MagsBC and Magazines Canada can apply to Creative BC's Magazine Publishers Travel Support Program for financial support to attend conferences. Note that for the 2018-2019 funding period, member magazines can apply to have up to 50% of their expenses reimbursed for conferences attended since April 1, 2018.
