The Magazine Association of BC is now receiving applications from member magazines for subsidies of up to $4500 to assist with the cost of an internship.
Internships must:
- Be between 16 and 22 weeks scheduled between April 1, 2019 and February 29, 2020
- Be at least 20 hours a week. Two magazines may submit a joint application with expressions of interest and a job posting if they feel they cannot meet this requirement alone
- Pay the intern at least minimum wage, currently $12.65 per hour, $13.85 as of June 1.
