In order to assist BC, Alberta and other Canadian publications who may be eligible to apply for Canadian Heritage’s Special Measures, MagsBC will offer the following workshops at 10-11 a.m. PDT
Tuesday: David Harkness, Canada Periodical Fund, Canadian Heritage, will present on this fund and answer questions.
Wednesday & Thursday: Allyson McGrane, an experienced grant writer with Left Right Minds, will be available to assist publishers as they work through their applications.
Registration is only $20 for all 3 workshops; if you feel overwhelmed, confused, or not sure you’re eligible after reading the application guide, or just want to maximize your chances, you may find one or more of these workshops of use.
