The Canada Periodical Fund’s Aid to Publishers Program guidelines and forms for 2025-2026 are online.
The Canada Periodical Fund (CPF) provides financial assistance to Canadian print magazines, print community newspapers (non-daily) and digital periodicals, to enable them to overcome market disadvantages and continue to provide Canadian readers with the content they choose to read.
Aid to Publishers
The Aid to Publishers component is designed to provide eligible Canadian publishers of print magazines, print community newspapers (non-daily) and digital periodicals with the financial support they need to produce and distribute high-quality, Canadian editorial content for Canadian readers.
Deadline to apply is November 28, 2024, 11:59 p.m. (EST)
Print and digital magazines that have applied for CPF’s Special Measures for Journalism (SMJ) funding this year can ALSO apply for 2025-26 funding through the Aid to Publishers’ (ATP) program if they are eligible under this program, as the funding is for two different years (2024/25 and 2025/26).
