Members and non-members alike are invited to attend the Magazine Association of BC’s Annual General Meeting.
Although only members can sit on the board and propose and vote on motions, non-members are welcome to contribute to discussions, sit on committees, and do other volunteer work with the association.
The MagsBC AGM will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2019, in the Art Room at Mount Pleasant Community Centre, 1 Kingsway, Vancouver, followed by a social at 7:15 p.m. at The Wallflower nearby at 2420 Main Street. Attendees must RSVP, including their name and which magazine or company they work for.
In addition to the usual AGM business, we will be putting forward a motion for the membership to direct the MagsBC Board of Directors to draft up a member code of conduct for the next AGM. Members who are unable to attend can still vote by proxy using the form below. (Instructions are on the form.)
