Magazines Canada is calling for expressions of interest from its members to stand for election to its board. Members can self-nominate or nominate a colleague.This year, as per the association’s public statement on anti-Black and anti-Indigenous racism, they have committed to elect no fewer than two Black and/or Indigenous directors to the board.
Magazines Canada is also actively looking for more Quebec-based French-language publisher representation on the board. There are a total of three (3) open seats on the board in 2021.
The deadline to apply is March 19.
