The Department of Canadian Heritage is seeking your input for the National Survey on the Cultural Sector’s Readiness for Artificial Intelligence. The survey will be available until September 15, 2026.

On June 4, the Government of Canada launched its new national artificial intelligence (AI) strategy, AI for All, which aims to strengthen trust in AI, create new economic opportunities, and support Canadian sovereignty in this rapidly evolving field.
As part of this strategy, the Department of Canadian Heritage is developing a new Creative Technology Program, a $50 million initiative designed to help Canada’s cultural sector adapt to rapid technological change, including the growing adoption and impact of artificial intelligence.
