Six More Venues Join the NTN Project
Greetings! It’s been months since our last update on the Non-Traditional Newsstands Project. We’ve been hard at work expanding our venues and restocking our existing ones, and we have exciting news to share.

For our post-secondary institutions, we’ve set up newsstands at the libraries of the Coquitlam and New Westminster campuses of Douglas College, as well as inside the UBC AMS Nest, right next to the CiTR Radio Station, the headquarters of one of our newest members, Discorder Magazine. We have also set up our first newsstand on Vancouver Island. North Island College’s Comox Valley campus is now home to a newsstand in the lobby of their student housing building.
North Island College will host five additional newsstands by the end of the summer: two more on the Comox Valley campus and one each at the Campbell River, Port Alberni, and the Mix̱alakwila campus, Port Hardy.

Back in Vancouver, we’ve got two new café locations: Kafka’s Coffee at Great Northern Way, close to the Emily Carr University campus within the False Creek Flats area, and Jack’s Spot, in the Joyce-Collingwood neighbourhood.
