Position: Part-time paid internship

Hours: 20 hours/week

Location: Comox Valley

Duration: Feb 18, 1 2025 – May 27, 2025*

ROAM Media focuses on recreation, arts and culture, history, nature and the environment, and food and beverage.

What you’ll be doing

As a part of our team, you’ll be assisting in online content creation, putting your education and training to work.

Working alongside ROAM Media’s publisher and art director and sales director, you’ll be advancing your skills and experience in media production, including adapting the latest techniques in digital, to SEO to social media engagement.

Note, the successful applicant will be familiar with our brands, including our online content and social media channels.

Your Qualifications

  • Student or recent graduate (within past 3 years) of a post-secondary media program in BC
  • WordPress
  • Graphic Design
  • Strong copywriting, familiar with use of Adobe, SEO, copywriting trends
  • Knowledge in Social Media Platforms and usage

Pay & Benefits

  • $20/hour – for 20 hours per week (flexible), paid as consultant to ROAM Media
  • ongoing training from ROAM Media.
