The BC Arts Council is offering a webinar on CADAC* on July 28 for current and prospective Operating Assistance grant recipients.
Why
All current and prospective Operating Assistance clients at the BC Arts Council – now including book and magazine or periodical publishers – are required to register in CADAC and complete the financial forms and updates.

- Book and Periodical publishers currently receiving Operating Assistance from the BC Art Council
- Book and Periodical publishers who are eligible to apply to Operating Assistance* and want to apply in the upcoming intake.

- Introduction to CADAC including data requirements, CADAC form overview, live demonstration.
- Presentation by David Bazinet and Marie-Chantale Pilon at CADAC
- Q&A
- General Operating Assistance presentation.
- Brief overview by Michelle Benjamin at BCAC

Note: the Operating Assistance intake will open on Wednesday, July 22. The intake will close on Thursday, October 8. Updated program guidelines will be available when the intake opens.
* is a joint effort of arts funders across the country and is dedicated to the collection, dissemination, and analysis of financial and statistical information about Canadian arts organizations in a system of record.
CADAC provides a simplified process, standardized forms and a web-based application to arts organizations applying for operating (core) grants to submit financial and statistical information for use by funding agencies.
