CADAC Info Session and Operating Assistance Overview for BC Publishers July 28/26

The BC Arts Council is offering a webinar on CADAC* on July 28 for current and prospective Operating Assistance grant recipients.

Why

All current and prospective Operating Assistance clients at the BC Arts Council – now including book and magazine or periodical publishers – are required to register in CADAC and complete the financial forms and updates.

When

Tuesday, July 28 | 10 am to 11:30 am Pacific Time

Who should attend

  1. Book and Periodical publishers currently receiving Operating Assistance from the BC Art Council
  2. Book and Periodical publishers who are eligible to apply to Operating Assistance* and want to apply in the upcoming intake.
*Have received at least three grants from the BC Arts Council since April 1, 2022, one of which was a Project Assistance: Literary Arts grant.

What will happen

  1. Welcome and Introductions
  2. Introduction to CADAC including data requirements, CADAC form overview, live demonstration.
  • Presentation by David Bazinet and Marie-Chantale Pilon at CADAC
  • Q&A
  1. General Operating Assistance presentation.
  • Brief overview by Michelle Benjamin at BCAC
  • Q&A

If you or members of your staff would like to attend, send names and email addresses to Michelle Benjamin at michelle.benjamin@gov.bc.ca. The link to the online meeting will be sent out the day before the session, i.e. Monday, July 27.

Note: the Operating Assistance intake will open on Wednesday, July 22. The intake will close on Thursday, October 8. Updated program guidelines will be available when the intake opens.
