Micky is the Link Magazine Coordinator at BCIT Student Association and a member of the Masters of Publishing 2021 Cohort at Simon Fraser University. She graduated from SFU in 2019 with a Bachelor of Communications, minoring in Publishing.
Micky is passionate about education and has worked with BCITSA to develop a training course on editing for student employees to gain a foundational knowledge of working with a publication. She has also worked closely with the marketing team to create a blog writing course for employees, placing high importance on implementing the tools available to better writing and editing. She has previously worked to support the creation of training courses in Leadership, Respectful Workplace, Violence Prevention, and Diversity and Dialogue.
