Shaleeta Harrison is the publications manager at the BCIT Student Association and the managing editor of Link magazine. Previously, Shaleeta was the executive director for the Federation of BC Writers, and managing editor of WordWorks magazine. Prior to that, she was the owner and co-founder of text litmag, a temporary free art magazine distributed throughout British Columbia.
Shaleeta received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Vancouver Island University in 2015 in the areas of creative writing, English, and visual arts. She also has experience with graphic design, event management, copywriting, administration, and grant writing.
After living on Vancouver Island for 27 years, Shaleeta moved to Burnaby in 2019. She is beginning the Master of Publishing program at SFU in September 2021.
