We are a Japanese monthly community magazine established in BC in July, 1992. We also started a supplementary magazine in August 2020 called Fraser go Local in the middle of every month, as we have become the only Japanese paper here.
Fraser Monthly is well-trusted among the Japanese and Japanese-speakers in BC for its long relationship with the community and its solid content. The contents are news, essays, reports about arts, culture, politics, and so on.
The Chief Editor received the Foreign Minister’s Commendation from the Government of Japan in 2021 for her service to Japanese-Canadian relations through the magazine and educational field.
