Founded in 2000, North Shore Mountain Biking, or NSMB, began as an answer to the question: “if someone wanted to know what was happening with the vibrant North Shore mountain biking scene, how would they find out?”
At the time, Vancouver’s North Shore was home to some of the world’s most pivotal riders, trails, and brands. Its impact on the sport over the last 25 years has been profound, and the area is still recognized as one of the most influential hotbeds for mountain bike talent in the world. The trails are as challenging as they are beautiful.
NSMB is the finger on the pulse of the riding and riders here on the Shore. We cover the sport’s many facets and travel to ride and test bikes, but our perspective is rooted in our home base here on the North Shore. This place is demanding of bikes and riders, and makes for the ultimate gear check, test of skill, and understanding of MTB culture.
